Kuhl Essence
~ Frequently Asked Questions ~

Yes, Kuhl Essence provides both infused & non-infused options. The topical Essential Oil Proprietary Blends DO NOT contain CBD. The products that do contain CBD are clearly labeled.

You get to choose the experience you’d like to have…with CBD, without CBD, or paired together!

We’d love to explain the difference! Hemp & Marijuana are NOT the same thing.

Although they both are members of the Cannabis Sativa Plant Family, they are two different plants with different purposes. However, both naturally contain phytocannabinoids such as CBD & THC.

The Marijuana Plant has a higher THC content than Hemp.

The Hemp Plant has a higher CBD content than Marijuana.

THC has an intoxicating effect when consumed giving you that feeling of being “high”. CBD is non-intoxicating & DOES NOT get you “high”.

CBD creates a gradual reaction that is subtle yet therapeutically effective for an individual’s internal system.

We encourage using the CBD products paired with the Essential Oil Proprietary Blends on a daily basis. However, you can still use them separately to experience wellness benefits. This allows individuals to enjoy at their own accord.

Our luxury CBD collection is derived & extracted from the Hemp Plant.

Great question! CBD pricing is determined by a few factors…its quality, cultivation, extraction methods, & milligram strength.  Not all CBD is created & treated equally.

Prices tend to vary on the actual CBD product depending if it’s in the form of an oil, a gummy, an edible, a capsule, flower, water soluble, or in a topical product. Also, the dosing strength & amount of milligrams per container has a major impact on the cost of a CBD product.

It depends on the amount of milligrams(mg) in an actual container.  The full amount of mg in a bottle or jar is broken down & portioned in to a serving size.  The amount of mg that’s actually consumed or topically applied can range. CBD dosing can be confusing because it’s about finding that “sweet spot” for what works best with your individual system.

For example, the CBD Oil that contains 900mg per bottle breaks down to 30mg per serving. So, one full dropper is 30mg. If you only take half of a dropper, it’s only 15mg instead of 30mg. OR if you consume two full droppers, that’s 60mg of CBD. Make sense?

Kuhl Essence will always provide education to prepare & inform our consumers. Our variety of products gives you options to choose from for your personal needs & preferences.

Sure, we’d love to help you understand!

  • Full Spectrum CBD products use the CBD rich whole plant extract. Full Spectrum contains all phytochemicals naturally found in the Hemp Plant. This includes CBD, trace cannabinoids, terpenes, flavonoids, essential oils, & the legal amount of 0.3% (or less) of THC.

  • Broad Spectrum CBD products use the CBD rich whole plant extract just like Full Spectrum. This includes all the phytochemicals naturally found in the Hemp Plant. This includes CBD, trace cannabinoids, terpenes, flavonoids, essential oils except the THC content has been removed through an extraction process. Broad Spectrum is ideal for those who can’t have (or don’t want) any traces of THC in their system.

  • CBD Isolate is the pure single molecule cannabidiol. Isolate is created by extracting it from it’s natural environment & removing all the other ingredients. It’s noted as the purest & highest concentration of CBD but that doesn’t make it the most effective. It’s lacking that “entourage effect” because it’s been stripped of it’s beneficial terpenes & flavonoids that contribute to results. CBD Isolate is the most processed.

It will depend on the product but the label will clearly read if it’s Broad Spectrum CBD or Full Spectrum CBD. Kuhl Essence CBD products DO NOT contain CBD Isolate. This gives options to our customers!

Full Spectrum CBD products contain a low percentage of THC content, however, the percentage is not enough to be intoxicating or get someone “high”.  Depending on someone’s work scenario or personal preference, some individuals choose not to have THC in their system. If this pertains to you, choose a CBD product that’s labeled as Broad Spectrum.

You’re not alone with this question. This is probably the most confusing for consumers.

The best answer according to Dr. Dustin Sulak, Integrative Medicine Specialist & leader in the emerging field of cannabinoid medicine, is “Start Low, Go Slow, & Don’t Be Afraid to Go All The Way.”

It’s impossible to overdose on Hemp derived CBD products! However, it is possible for you to waste product & money by taking too much that your body might not necessarily need. Similar to how vitamins work in the human body, your body will naturally discard, get rid of & waste what you don’t actually need. There’s a volume level that’s unique & different for each individual.

Microdosing is the smart way to start. Gauge how your body is feeling or responding to the amount you’ve ingested & if you feel like you need more, increase the dose.

It’s about finding that “sweet spot” that works best for you specifically.

CBD is a personal experience because there’s not a cookie cutter answer. Each individual has varying bioavailability capabilities.

Due to the fat-soluble nature of CBD, the absorption rate is 3-5 times better when taken with food compared to on an empty stomach.

It depends on your unique body & the capability of how the CBD can reach your internal Endo-Cannabinoid System (ECS). It varies for each person because we all have different circumstances such as age, fluctuating weight, injuries, health challenges, metabolism rates, etc.

Different formulations, milligram strength, & serving sizes will play a factor too. Also, depending on the formulas & types of CBD products, there’s a certain amount of time the CBD could take to become effective. Plus, how long it will actually be active & last in your system could range.

CBD Oil usually takes effect at a speedier rate because it’s consumed sublingually by putting the drops under your tongue. This allows for your mucous membranes to absorb before it enters the digestive tract. The direct contact with an individual’s veins & blood vessels allows for faster bioavailability absorption in to the bloodstream.

Depending on the individual, the CBD could take effect immediately or could be as long as 2 hours to take effect.

Yes, CBD can be absorbed through the skin. However, it is important to know that this technique is much different than ingesting CBD sublingually or through inhalation.

It does not enter the bloodstream when applied topically. Instead, it connects with Cannabinoid Receptors through the skin’s pores.

Absolutely, this is another great question.

If you’d like to receive maximum health benefits from the Cannabis plant, Hemp derived CBD products are the way to go. They are legal (in most states), won’t get you “high”, & are loaded with beneficial compounds.

Compounds from the Hemp Plant naturally comprise of terpenes, flavonoids, fatty acids, essential oils, vitamins, minerals, plus other cannabinoids, such as CBG. Including this combination along with CBD & THC, your body can maximize the effects to receive the “Entourage Effect”.

This is what makes the Hemp Plant so beneficial to the body because it has the capability to create a more powerful effect for wellness promoting potential.

Terpenes are the essential oils of the plant. Terpenes give a plant its unique aroma & flavor. Terpenes have wellness benefits along with physiological effects.

Terpenes aren’t just found in the Hemp Plant. They are in almost every flower, herb, fruit, & plants. Specifically referring to the Hemp plant, they are produced in the same glands of the cannabinoids.

Flavonoids, Like Terpenesare also found in most plants & are responsible for the gorgeous, vibrant colors. Flavonoids have also shown therapeutic benefits, which could include pain relief.

Combined together within the body, Terpenes, Flavonoids, & Cannabinoids bind with the Endo-Cannabinoid receptors as well as the Opioid receptors.

Absolutely! The Essential Oil Proprietary Blends were created to target different symptoms for separate ailments. Unfortunately, some people experience flare-ups from more than one ailment at a time or on the same day. If that happens, you’ll need the unique blend of aromatherapy benefits from more than one product to help find relief.

Almost all of the Kuhl Essence products are plant-based & vegan. The ONLY product that is not vegan is the CBD Dog Chews.

Yes! Almost all animals, vertebrates and invertebrates are known to have an Endo-Cannabinoid System (ECS). (Mammals, fish, birds, reptiles, dogs, cats, etc.)

Because of the presence of the ECS in pets, it’s suggested that CBD affects our animals in much the same way as it does humans.

Basically, the CBD oil used for pets is no different than the CBD oil used for humans. However, serving size & milligrams recommendations are different. Typically, there aren’t any differences in the way the CBD is manufactured.

When designed specifically for pets in mind, CBD companies will typically add some kind of appealing flavor (think beef or bacon) to entice your cat or dog into trying it.

The CBD oil a human takes is likely much stronger than CBD designated for your pet. Specifically giving your pets CBD Oil or CBD Chews created for them is always recommended! Human products may also have ingredients that could harm your pet, such as some essential oils.

CBD for pets is often made with a carrier such as flaxseed oil, which could enhance the health of your pet.

The products created by Kuhl Essence are infused & considered “proprietary blends” (or “customized formulas”). Kuhl Essence uses carrier oils &/or butters/creams in conjunction with a variety of Essential Oils that harmonize nicely together.

Not all Essential Oils (EO’s) should be used topically or ingested internally on their own. EO’s are concentrated & potent so certain ones need to be blended with nourishing carrier oils &/or butters. The blended combination allows for a safer delivery method to avoid irritation when topically applied to the skin or ingested internally.

Examples of Carrier Oils that Kuhl Essence chooses to use include Organic Jojoba Oil, Organic Medium Chain Triglycerides Oil (MCT Oil), Organic Avocado Oil, Organic Hemp Seed Oil, Organic Sesame Seed Oil, Organic Almond Oil, etc.

Examples of Carrier Butters we choose to use include Organic African Shea Butter, Organic Cupuacu Butter, Organic Mango Butter, etc.

This is an ‘iffy’ subject!

Kuhl Essence recommends consulting with your Primary Doctor, your Ob-Gyn and specifically a Registered / Clinical Aromatherapist. Be sure to find an Aromatherapist qualified & well versed with safety for pregnant women & nursing mothers.

Every person is different & so are their circumstances. There are some Essential Oils considered safe for these times. However, there are some Essential Oils that are considered NOT safe for pregnancy & breastfeeding. The body is constantly changing during this time plus the baby is developing.

There could be risk involved so please take our recommendation to consult with your Primary Doctor, your Ob-Gyn & Registered / Clinical Aromatherapist prior to using any of the Kuhl Essence products.
